Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 10g Resolves Shao Yang disorders, reduces fever, spreads Liver Qi, relieves Stagnation and disperses Wind-Heat.
With Bao Shao, for vertigo, dizziness, thoracic and costal pain, and menstrual irregularity due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 10g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, disperses Cold and stops pain due to Blood Stasis.
With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 10g Nourishes the Blood, softens the Liver and relieves pain.
With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 10g Regulates Qi, adjusts the Middle, relieves the diaphragm and dries Dampness.
Rz. Pinelliae Preparatum Zhi Ban Xia 10g Dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm and descends Rebellious Qi.
With Chen Pi, for epigastric and abdominal distention or pain due to disharmony of the Stomach Qi.
With Fu Ling, treats Phlegm, thin mucus and turbid Dampness.
Rx. et Rz. Notopterygii Qiang Huo 10g Releases the exterior, disperses Cold, expels Wind-Cold-Dampness, unblocks painful obstruction and alleviates pain.
Rx. Platycodi Jie Geng 10g Opens and raises Lung Qi, directing the effects of other herbs to the upper body.
Sm. Sinapis Bai Jie Zi 10g Promotes Qi movement, dissipates nodules, unblocks the collaterals and alleviates pain.
Rx. Aconiti Lateralis Aconiti Preparata Zhi Fu Zi 10g Disperses Cold and Dampness, warms the channels and stops pain.
With Bai Zhu and Fu Ling, for Kidney and Spleen Yang Deficiency with retention of pathogenic water with abdominal pain, which is worse with Cold, urinary difficulty, and deep aching and heaviness in the extremities.
Rx. Gentianae Macrophyllae Qin Jiao 10g Expels Wind-Dampness, opens the channels and soothes the sinews and collaterals
Poria Fu Ling 10g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness, strengthens the Spleen, harmonizes the Middle Jiao and transforms Phlegm.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Chen Pi, for nausea, vomiting, chest fullness and distention and anorexia due to congested fluids.
